We are proud to have one of our custom homes (Villa Bello Lago) on the cover and section pages of the Residential Design, Drafting, and Detailing, Second Edition by Alan Jefferis and Janice A. Jefferis. It’s a book for students pursuing a career in residential architecture. The cover shows the rear of a custom Italianate home we designed in Fort Myers, Florida in a gated community for a great couple who owned a local tile and carpet company. This home was one of the last projects Gabriel Orengo, CPBD, AIBD had the privilege to work with the founder of Palladian Design Group and friend Eric S. Brown. Together they designed this custom luxury home which has been previously published in FLORIDA DESIGN, VOL. 20, Number  3 (Article titled: On the River’s Edge, Pg. 240) and had won a Grand Aurora Award in 2009 (Southern Eastern Building Conference). The home was built by Harwick Homes.  

The ASID Designer Showhouse is a big hit!!!!   We really enjoyed creating our Dining Room and Exterior Lanai.   The theme color scheme for the Designer Showhouse was Earth, Wind and Fire.   We designed our space in a contemporary feel using rich metallic finishes, deep orange accents and custom rich wood finishes.   A number of our Furnitures pieces were custom designed and will be available thru our new Furniture LIne that we are in the process of putting together.   Enjoy the photo.

The ASID 2013 Designer Showhouse is open and being well received.    We enjoyed creating our Dining Room and Exterior Lanai.   The theme colors for the Designer Showhouse were Earth, Wind and Fire.  We acheived the overall inviting design by using rich metallic finishes, deep orange accents accented with dark wood finishes.  A number of our Furniture pieces were custom designed.  The Dining Table is a solid piece of American Cherry that was hand carved and finished.

American Society of Interior Designers presents the new Travira 2013 SkyHome Showcase.   We are excited to be chosen to design the Dining Room of the Earth, Wind, and Fire Showcase Home.   Our one of a kind specially designed Dining Table is exquisite, a "must see".  The entire room features a rich color palete of copper, bronze, and creams combining elements of wood, metal, and crystals to create an elegant space in the "sky".  We will keep you posted on the Grand Opening Date and Special Events planned for this Spring.  

“ Local Design Firm Wins Multiple Awards”

Under the themed event, “Gala in the Garden” the Celebration of ASID FSC’s Brightest Stars, many talented Interior Designers gathered at the beautiful Naples Botanical Garden  on Saturday, September 29^th to honor the best in Interior Design.

Announced that evening were the ASID Design Excellence Awards.  Denise Ward and Lori Christy of Denise Ward Interior Design were the recipients of multiple awards which included:  Best Overall Design Private Residence Transitional under 5,000 sq. feet, Best Overall Design Private Residence Traditional over 5,000 sq. feet, and Single Space Private Residence Irish Tavern Replica/Game Room.

The Design Team worked closely with  local builders, Harwick Homes, BCB Homes, Falcon Designs, Architect, Ruffino Cabinetry, Alli Kriste Cabinetry, and Marble Works  as well as numerous Subcontractors to complete their award winning designs.
