Denise Ward Interiors was referred to us by Harwick Homes upon our request for a decorating team who would listen to our ideas and not impose only their visions upon us. We wanted to use many of our own furnishings, and had a rough idea of the "vision" but not much more in mind. My sketchy descriptions of an 'Old Florida' design with sea glass colors and lots of nature inspired details, including environmentally appropriate materials and local contractors were all take into consideration by Denise and Lori. Communication between our contractor and decorators was seamless and efficient, resulting in no wasted time.

Crucial to a successful design project has to be clear communication and certain "chemistry" that often can only be felt not delineated. I shall try to express myself here: Denise and Lori felt like family or dear friends without the baggage! Sometimes they were purely instinctive in interpreting our vision. Neither my husband nor I is "into" decorating but we know the look and feel we want in our environment. We wanted our family and guest to feel comfortable, relaxed, welcomed in our home. This includes seven grandchildren and many friends who visit often. Denise and Lori kept our vision uppermost in mind and created a wonderful space for us in our home.
